About Victoria (she/her/hers)

Victoria values the beauty of growing towards living as our authentic, true selves. She believes the therapist acts as a front passenger on one's healing journey, where autonomy is important and the relationship during the ride is key. Victoria's style encourages the notion of meeting heaviness with curiosity and self-compassion, while embracing our goodness in life the same. Victoria invites you to experience the opportunity to explore yourself wholeheartedly. She believes that magic happens when we first accept ourselves as simply being human, and that we all are capable of creating our own inner peace.

In additional to clinical work, Victoria assists with clinical outreach, curriculum development, and Wholehearted marketing.

  • Healing from childhood trauma through expressive & narrative therapies

Our experiences are made up of a multitude of moments. Some of these moments, or chapters even, can be painful, uncomfortable, or a mix of feelings that seem too overwhelming to dip into.If you find yourself resonating with this headline, it is likely that you are either approaching emerging adulthood, transitioning into adulthood -the more "seasoned" years of life, or perhaps between the two. My role is to meet you where you are with your experiences - past, present, & those that you may long for in the future. During our sessions, we will revisit various parts of your life experience and, work on identifying core values, relationship patterns, and family roles. You will also learn to affirm your own needs, wants, and desires that may not have been fulfilled during our childhood and adolescence.

  • Developing identity during childhood through strength-based approaches

Parents and guardians...first of all, how are YOU doing? If you're interested in bringing your child or teen to therapy, I want you to know that you are just as deserving of support. In my role as a therapist for a child or adolescent, I will collaborate with parents to identify ways to successfully approach a child's needs .I do this through a family system lens that honors the unique needs of each family.

Does your child have difficulties managing their emotions when faced with limits, daily activities, or new experiences? Is your teen showing "signs" of stress while in a decision-making role, navigating friendships, maintaining motivation, or trying out different forms of personal expression? Exploring identity and developing a foundation for our sense of self is a pivotal part of youthhood, and can start being built upon as early as 3 years old. My goal is to work with you, your family, and your child to nourish your child's identity in a way that fosters autonomy, personal development, self-trust, and compassion.

  • Learning to ride the waves of grief after loss

Finding the sun after experiencing a loss can certainly feel like a faraway dream. I'm here to join you in a journey that is complex and unpredictable."When will it get easier?" many ask. Grief is a complicated, inevitable process, and perhaps even a mystical type of experience that we may not understand until we are the ones grieving. If you are facing the loss of a loved one, a relationship or job, or a chapter, I want you to know that it is normal- and healthy- to experience an ever changing waves of emotions. Depending on the type of loss, we can experience sadness, frustration, anger, guilt...and all are okay. There is no "right" way to grieve. During our sessions, we will explore what it means to introduce yourself to a new world after your loss.
