About Danielle (she/her/hers)
Hi! My name is Danielle and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Reaching out for support can be a really difficult decision and I am so proud of you for taking the first step! As human beings, we need connection and a safe environment to work through the things we go through and I aim to offer that to all my clients. I create a non-judgmental and collaborative environment where clients feel safe and empowered to authentically explore and improve their lives. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and the LGBTQIA+ community facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, social and relationship issues, grief and loss, and trauma.
The relationship between client and counselor is the backbone of therapeutic success. I strive to foster a trusting, patient, and authentic bond with my clients where they can feel free to be their truest selves. My goal is to meet each client where they are at and empower every individual on their healing journey. My approach is eclectic, using aspects from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed, and somatic therapy, with human-centered counseling being at the center of my work. In our sessions, you can expect to work on mindfulness, regulating your mind-body connection, and reframing thoughts that do not serve you through gentle redirection, psychoeducation, and the occasional use of humor.
For my own self care, I like to read, go to the beach, travel, spend quality time with friends and family, and play with my four dogs and two cats.
