About Jill (she/her/hers)

I am Jill, a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Yoga Teacher. My belief is that everyone’s journey with healing is individualized, holistic, special, and unique. Throughout the 18 years I have spent working as a social worker, I have been able to witness that despite any challenges we faced, we are all capable of living as our whole worthy authentic selves.

My therapeutic approach is to serve as a safe space, a support, and a guide to your own journey of healing through; cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as strengths based models of treatment, The Gottman Method for couples, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and various nervous system regulation tools such as emotional freedom technique (tapping), breathe work, and guided meditation and visualization.

I have an extensive amount of experience guiding school aged children and their families through their experiences with anxiety, ADHD, grief, adjustment issues, and other major life challenges stages of life transitions and divorce.

I have spent the majority of my career as a school social worker so this is an area of practice that I am truly passionate about. Additionally, as a parent myself, I enjoy providing a supportive environment for other parents to work through obstacles with navigating parenting and whatever challenges their child may be facing in a supportive, nurturing, structured, and approachable manner.

At the same time I have spent a large part of my career assisting teens and women of all ages to find their center and their own individualized path through the 'chaos' that can be life. I have found that engaging in my own self care and daily practices has led me to being able to show up as a safe container for others. I practice hot yoga, meditation, hiking, and long walks with my son and my Australian Labradoodle Cam. In addition, I spend a great deal of time at the beach, engaging in many outdoor sports, and constantly trying to further my learning and growing by traveling, cooking, reading, and trying new restaurants.

It is truly my hope to be an empowering presence to those whose paths cross with mine, so that they can see they have the power to heal themselves.
