About Lisa (she/her/hers)
Hi! My name is Lisa. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). I have worked with a variety of populations through my 10+ years of my career so far, including adults, children, teens, people with severe mental illness and the chemically addicted. My clients come to counseling with a variety of concerns and issues and my goal is to join alongside them on their therapeutic journey in a safe and supportive way, while at the same time assisting them in finding solutions to problems. Some of my favorite part of this work is building insight and reaching therapeutic movement. Several of the approaches I utilize often are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Family Systems, as well as other emotional therapies when appropriate. In an ever changing world caring for oneself is of the utmost importance, whether this is in a therapeutic setting or through self-care.
For my own self care I love spending family time with my husband and two beautiful Dachshunds, listening to music and getting together with friends.
