About Courtney (she/her/hers)
Hi! I’m Courtney, a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at WHC, dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages on their unique life journeys. I believe each person’s life story is shaped by their experiences, but with the mental tools to meet their own needs, everyone has the capacity to reshape how those experiences unfold.
We may not always control what happens to us, but we can choose how it impacts us. Within each of us resides a hidden potential—a wellspring of untapped inner resources that can heal psychological wounds and bolster our resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
My approach is eclectic and client-centered. I meet you where you are and help you develop personalized skills to navigate life’s complexities. You don’t have to go it alone. In this ever-evolving world, asking for help is human—and it would be an honor to support you on your healing journey. Together, we can build tools to enrich your days, weeks, months, and the rest of your life.
My eclectic, client-centered approach draws from multiple therapeutic traditions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and motivational techniques—so I can adapt to your individual needs and help you grow flexibly and holistically.
For my own self-care, I enjoy going to the beach, painting, traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
