About Natalie (she/her/hers)
Hi there! My name is Natalie, and I am a clinical graduate intern at WHC. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences as well as minors in sociology and psychology. I am currently working towards my Master of Arts/Education Specialist in Professional Counseling at Seton Hall University as well. My passion for mental health has been shaped by my experience as a former student athlete, where I saw firsthand the importance of emotional well-being, resilience, and balance. This has fueled my commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and move towards healing and growth.
I am passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life-transitions, performance related stress, and struggles with self-esteem. Each person’s journey is different, and I believe an integrative therapeutic approach allows us to honor that by creating a plan that truly fits the individual’s unique needs and goals. I have enjoyed exploring areas of Cognitive- Behavioral therapy (CBT), Person-Centered therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques within my studies.
For self-care, I prioritize being active, specifically going on a run, walk, cycle, or swim. I also enjoy time in nature, especially the beach, as well as listening to music, and connecting with people who inspire and support me.
