About Sarah (she/her/hers)
Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am a Graduate Intern here at WHC. I’m in the process of completing my degree to become a licensed associate counselor, and I am overjoyed at the opportunity to walk on the path of healing with you. Everyone’s path is different and my goal is to meet you where you’re at on that journey, and walk beside you as we go.
My goal is to create a safe and trusting environment that allows my clients to talk freely. My approach to therapy encourages the integration of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the human condition. I believe in treating the “whole” person, rather than treating the problem. The body achieves what the mind believes. I also work to enrich the innate strengths my clients already have while introducing new coping skills that help you be the best version of yourself.
For my own self care I like to spend time on the beach with family and friends, bake sweet treats, read, and binge watch a good show.
