A therapeutic empowerment group for parents, caregivers, & guardians that is structured to provide a space for sharing and exploring resources and skills for expanding their toolbox. Parents will gain skills by sharing ideas and engaging in open discussions with others who may be experiencing similar struggles. Parents will enhance their knowledge in a judgement-free setting, and be able to increase their confidence in their parenting ability. Parents Empowering Parents is geared towards obtaining resources, skills, and knowledge with a supportive approach.

Group facilitator, Ashley, is a Licensed Social Worker, a parent to an active toddler of her own, and has experience working with children of all ages. Through Ashley’s professional experience, she has an abundance of knowledge regarding services that are available to parents and families throughout Monmouth County and surrounding areas.

Exploring topics such as:

• Parenting styles
• Evidence-based consequences
• Strategies for challenging moments

6-week commitment required.
