Teen DBT: A DBT-Informed Skills Group
An in person group that involves psychoeducation & skill-building relating to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.

This group requires an 8-week commitment, and will be ongoing & remain open for new members.
A therapeutic group for teens that involves psychoeducation and skill-building relating to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness & mindfulness. This group differs from a process group and focuses on learning ways to reduce self-destructive behaviors and developing more productive ways to manage uncomfortable emotions.
This group is perfect for teens who:
- experienced trauma
- have difficulty getting along with others
- exhibit impulsive behaviors
- have intrusive thoughts or OCD
- have urges to self-harm
- have symptoms of depression
Week 1: Introduction to DBT & Mindfulness
Week 2: Mindfulness & Distress Tolerance
Week 3: Distress Tolerance
Week 4: Parent Session
Week 5: Emotion Regulation
Weeks 6 & 7: Interpersonal Effectiveness
Week 8: Parent Session
