About Marissa (she/her/hers)

My name is Marissa and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). Throughout my counseling journey, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals of all ages who are working through a diverse set of life changes, stressors, and experiences. My primary experience has been working with adults who are struggling with substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, etc.

My goal is to create a safe and brave space for my clients to begin or continue to strengthen their self-awareness and move through life as their most authentic self. While I have experience utilizing evidenced-based CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, I consider my approach to be existential in nature. As we walk through the counseling journey together, it is my hope that you will begin to feel more in touch with yourself, your beliefs, and the power you have in your own life.
