About Ingrid (she/her)
Hi, I’m Ingrid, I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at WHC. I understand therapy can feel intimidating at first, but I hope to create a warm and welcoming space even for the most uncomfortable of feelings. I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and authenticity. I strive to help clients develop healthy coping skills, resilience, and create a stronger connection to themselves and others in their life. Together we can set realistic goals and navigate life’s challenges and monitor personal growth along the way. I tailor my approach to each unique individual using techniques such as CBT, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness, play therapy, and creative interventions including art-based techniques.Â
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, life transitions, and everyday emotional stressors. I also have a special interest in supporting women through the postpartum period and the transitions that come with motherhood.Â
Finding work-life balance is super important and so is self-care. I love to spend time outdoors since I find nature to be very calming weather it’s at the beach or a peaceful hike. I also enjoy turning off the real world for a moment and getting lost in a good book. Whether you are going through a difficult season or simply looking for support, I feel honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
