About Holly (she/her/hers)
Hi! My name is Holly and I just graduated from Monmouth University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I plan to continue my education in forensic psychology by attending grad school in the fall. I have always wanted to go into the field of psychology ever
since my childhood. I love to learn about different types of people and different types of therapy. I started at Wholehearted Healing Collective as an intern and learned so much that I just had to stay! I am continuing to learn so much in the field of psychology in such a diverse practice. A few of my favorite things that I have learned so far are trauma-informed therapy, DBT therapy, and EMDR therapy. I believe that many people do not prioritize their mental health as they should, and I want to help! Healing takes many forms but in order to heal, mental health must be a priority. I make my own mental health a priority by practicing self-care.
For self-care, I love going on walks or hiking with my dog, doing yoga, meditation, and watching movies. In the crazy busy world that we live in it is so important to turn your brain off sometimes, and these are ways that help me to do that.
