What We’ve Learned:
- Most of the research behind diet culture is actually funded by diet companies, such as Weight Watchers [!!!].
- We all have a “weight set point” that our body often bounces back to when given the freedom to do so.
- Cravings are your body’s way of getting what it needs-substituting the thing you are craving with a “healthier version” of it is NOT eating intuitively.
- When you allow yourself to eat cake and cookies whenever you want, you will eventually stop craving and bingeing them so often.
