About Carlee

Welcome! My name is Carlee, and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with Wholehearted Healing Collective. I work from a collaborative approach, always considering what is best for you and your individualized healing journey. Stemming from a long-standing passion for the human experience, I greatly value intuitive and holistic healing in order to bring out what all of us desire: to be able to live a life worth living. Looking far beyond individual symptoms, I believe it's most effective to work from our foundational experiences and understand the development of painful thoughts, experiences and unconscious behaviors that are hindering one's quality of life. Within this partnership, we can be free to explore identity, awareness, strength and purpose in this journey. My goal is to bring clarity to the issues you currently face and help you to grow from them in a meaningful and compassionate way.

Several of the approaches that I utilize include Psychodynamic exploration, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and expressive therapies when possible. I strongly encourage my clients to continue their healing process outside of therapy, through self-care routines, relationships, and individual self-exploration in order to get the most of out treatment. My personal experiences include working with all ages, from children as young as 3 to end of life staged adults. Currently, I am focused on working with young adults, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma. Being a clinician, I work to be as authentic as possible, and enjoy the fact that we are all human beings walking together through the journey of life.

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.

"Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent as a guide from beyond."
- Rumi, The Guest House

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
